Refund policy

Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your purchase — but if it’s not quite right, we offer exchanges, store credit, or refunds on full-priced items.

Sale items are eligible for store credit or exchange only.


Exceptions

We do not accept returns for refund for change of mind on:

  • Items marked Final Sale

  • Items discounted by 40% or more

  • Items in unsellable condition (e.g. worn, washed, stained, damaged, or heavily scented)

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund under the Australian Consumer Law. In these cases, we will cover return shipping and all associated costs. Please reach out to us via email (shop@megbydesign.com)  in this case and we will assist you immediately.


Return Conditions

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition, with all original tags and packaging

  • Items must be free from perfume, stains or damage

We reserve the right to:

  • Deduct cleaning or repair fees for items not returned in acceptable condition

  • Reject a return entirely if the item is not in a sellable state. If your return is rejected, it will be sent back to you, and return shipping may be charged

These conditions apply to change-of-mind returns only.
Faulty items will always be handled according to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Exchange & Shipping Fees

  • First exchange (within Australia): Free

  • International exchanges: $15 AUD flat rate

  • Additional exchanges: $10 AUD per swap

  • Return shipping for change of mind: Customer’s responsibility

  • Return shipping for faulty items: Covered by us


How to Return

  1. Visit our Returns & Exchanges Portal to begin your return

  2. Repackage your item securely, including your order confirmation and RMA number

  3. Post it using a trackable shipping method to:

Processing Times

  • Returns are processed within 3 business days of arrival

  • Refunds may take 1–2 billing cycles to appear, depending on your provider

  • You’ll receive an email once your return or exchange is complete


Your Rights

This returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or doesn't perform as promised, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund, and all return costs will be covered by us.
