St Bart's gauze linen tops

St Barts black top
Hi, I love all my “ Meg” garments. I just received this in the mail and washed it, as like another reviewer … was unsure about the fabric as it was shedding. I’ve never had this issue before. I hope that after another wash this stops as the shape is great.
Hi Suzanne thank you for your feedback and yes you are correct, the St Barts top is made from a Gauze Linen which does seem to like a couple of very gentle handwashes to release and remove stray fibers. We recommend washing in cold water with a mild liquid detergent or containing it in a garment washing bag to reduce pulling and tension on the fibers. I hope this helps :)
