The Java shorts are beautifully made and have a 'triple sown' fully elasticised waistband. This means that the elastic doesn't fold over within the waistband during laundering that can be a real pain to fix.
Very generous sizing. I had to return the size large for a medium. For reference I've a 107 cm waist thanks to a 'mum-tum' and my hips are about 110cm. I don't like wearing my shorts low rise or slouchy and prefer a high rise and I could wear these shorts quite high rise. Deducted 1 star for the sizing issue, but otherwise highly recommended. Also thank you for the average height models, it makes working out where a hem might sit that much easier.
