ABOUT
The Hands Behind Our Clothes
Every Meg by Design garment passes through the hands of skilled makers. We work with small, owner-led production teams in India, South Korea, China and Australia, forming relationships built on trust, respect and a shared commitment to quality. Many of our garments are cut, sewn and finished in small runs, with an extraordinary amount of knowledge and care involved at every stage. Our makers are not an invisible part of the process; their experience, patience and craftsmanship are essential to bringing each of our designs to life.

INDIA
We have grown with our manufacturers in India since we began working with them in 2015. We visit each year and absolutely love our time in the factory

AUSTRALIA
We have begun again to produce limited edition pieces in house at our studio in the northern rivers.

SOUTH KOREA
After a trip to Seoul in 2025 we have begun working with a small factories in the city. It Is their first time working with international labels

Our connection in China came through a trusted friend who collaborates directly with the factory. She serves as our translator, cultural guide, and on-the-ground representative.

AUSTRALIA

From 2004 Michelle began her creativity journey after leaving midwifery. Every single MegbyDesign piece was hand made by her.
