Visiting Italy Together: The Importance of Living Slowly

Visiting Italy Together: The Importance of Living Slowly

As many of you know my family and I went to Italy for Christmas, our first family holiday in too may years to count. We are so incredibly grateful to have spent those weeks together exploring so many regions of beautiful Italy.

We explored the ancient ruins of Craco, ice skated amongst the Trulli houses in Alberobello, wandered the labyrinth of alleyways of Ostuni, saw the Trevi fountain in Rome in the middle of the night when there was no one but us, drove the scenic Amalfi Coast (all by ourselves!) and relaxed in the thermal pools in one of the most spectacular day spas in Milan.

While we were staying in beautiful Matera we met my niece who had been travelling Europe for the last year and with our original photography and model team we shot our AW24 Collection all together. I was so grateful to be there amongst the stones in the old city, and so glad that Meg had wanted to share the magic she had experienced months before with us.

For us, the time off allowed us to slow down, unwind and simply enjoy the new experiences that every day brought to us. It was a strong reminder to us all that even though we are in the business of slow fashion our world is incredibly fast paced and it's important to take those moments for ourselves. We are incredibly grateful for every single moment we had and will cherish the memories forever.

I never thought in a million years that I would be photographing my designs amongst the 10,000 year old walls of a magical city in Italy with my family, and for that I am so grateful to each and every one of you that has played such a big role in that journey.

This is so beautiful, what a memorable experience for you all. Lovely collection as well!

Kenneth

So loved reading about your family trip to Italy and how much you love Italy.
It is a country I have been passionate about from a very young age and have been incredibly lucky to visit very often over the years.
The Matera collection (which I adore and have multiple pieces from and am praying will be available for a long time to come) has been made even more special because of the Italian connection!
I’m leaving for Italy at the beginning of April for 31/2 months, my suitcase will be stashed with that collection! Thank you for your incredible work and beautiful collections.
Wishing you the greatest success, health and happiness for 2024.
Thank you.❤️🇮🇹
